Design Museum delivers new technology exhibition

Design Museum and the Technology Strategy Board have collaborated to deliver a new exhibition about the changes in the manufacturing industry.

The Design Museum will house the first 'factory' of its kind, when visitors can learn how 3D printing works and witness a live production line.

New exhibition - The Future is Here, looks at what inspires and drives innovation and how it can lead to increased productivity and economic growth in the 'new' industrial revolution.

The Design Museum plans to relocate from its current home at Shad Thames to the former Commonwealth Institute building, in Kensington, West London. Designer dRMM will convert the interior of the new facility, giving it three times more space than at its previous residence.
