Eden Project nominated for music awards

Cornwall eco-attraction, The Eden Project, has been nominated for two awards at the UK Festival Awards for its annual music events, The Eden Sessions.

The Sessions are in the running for the Best Small Festival Award which celebrates events with quirky touches and a sense of community and the Grass Roots Festival Award which looks at festivals which support local communities and new music, while retaining an independent spirit. The winners will be announced in December.

The Eden Project's marketing director, Martin Williams, says: "We work hard to create one-day festivals which appeal to a variety of musical tastes and capture the essence of the Eden Project, so are very proud to be nominated."
