London Zoo opens Amphibians exhibit
Zoological Society of London (ZSL) has opened a new permanent exhibition, Amphibians, at London Zoo.
The new attraction charts the story of frogs, toads, salamanders, newts and caecilians, starting with their evolution from 'walking' and air-breathing lungfish to the diversity and survival skills they use today.
Providing a centre for ZSL's EDGE Amphibians programme, the new exhibit will also give visitors an insight into ZSL's conservation work around the world to protect and save amphibians the most endangered group of animals on Earth.
