Don't miss out on VAC 2020 - catch it on demand until 12 November

For those who missed VAC 2020 – the annual UK Conference for Visitor Attractions – there’s still the chance, until 12th November, to catch it on demand.

With up to ten hours of content relating to the management and marketing of visitor attractions and events, the conference recording covers presentations and major discussion sessions including a keynote speech from Nigel Huddleston MP, Minister of Tourism.

Market insights and marketing sessions included The Future for Attractions in a post-Covid World with Bernard Donoghue, CEO of ALVA, Trendwatching with Gino Zisa of VisitEngland, Jon Young of BVA-BDRC and Steve Mills of Decision House, Ticketing with James Berzins, Director, TXGB, Abbi Ollive of Castle Howard and Robert Owen of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and an up-to-date Tourism Policy Briefing from Kurt Janson of the Tourism Alliance.

Speakers in sessions on the operation of the business included Sue Biggs CBE of the RHS, Sasha Greig of the Old Royal Naval College, Nerys Williams of the Gladstone Pottery Museum, Maggie Appleton MBE of the Royal Air Force Museum, Judith Owens of Titanic Belfast and Sean Collins of Uber Boat by Thames Clippers.

Founded and organised by industry organisations ALVA, BALPPA, Leisure Media – publisher of Attractions Management magazine –  and VisitBritain, VAC is the leading event of its type for visitor attractions, and this year was the first times that it went “virtual” - with more than 200 people attending it live.

To register for the “on-demand” content and recordings, visit www.vacevents.com before 12 November 2020.
