Secret Cinema does Bridgerton tie-up with Netflix

Attractions Management understands that immersive entertainment specialist, Secret Cinema, has partnered with streaming giant Netflix to host a Bridgerton ball at a location later this year.

To be held at a secret location in London in November, the three-hour immersive experience will revolve around a ballroom – a setting that plays a pivotal role in the hugely popular series charting live in Regency England.

Visitors will be dressed as part of the cast and will be able to choose whether to blend in with the crowd or take centre stage, as the experience looks to blur reality with that of the Bridgerton story.

Guests can also take part in dance classes, life-drawing and period-specific games.

"Visitors will be able to attend the most elegant ball of the season with only the most fashionable guests of the Ton," Secret Cinema said.

"They will also indulge in delicious food and enticing liqueurs throughout the evening, while listening to pop classics – as re-imagined by a classical string quartet.

"Guests can also explore the hidden parts of the grounds with life-drawing rooms, dueling practice, games of chance, and secret encounters away from prying eyes.

"Those who earn the coveted 'love tokens' can compete with other guests for the Queen's attention. The idea is to enjoy a mesmerising light show and relive iconic Bridgerton moments as they make acquaintance with your favourite characters."

Created in 2007 by Fabien Riggall, Secret Cinema started conducting screenings at undisclosed venues across London, including interactive performances in purpose-built sets.

Since then, the events have grown to large-scale experiences in which people spend up to 5 hours exploring the worlds, engaging with their favourite characters and becoming part of the story.
