Government agrees to ALVA request for Tourism Industry Council to meet in light of England lockdown

The Government has agreed to ALVA 's request, made immediately after the Prime Minister's statement on 31st October announcing the lockdown measures in England, to convene an extraordinary meeting of the Tourism Industry Council.
The Council will meet with industry leaders on the afternoon of Tuesday 3rd November.
ALVA has received confirmation that parks and gardens, whether free or paid, may remain open, and continues to press the case for Botanic Gardens to remain open too.
